Day One of concert week has come and passed and I have nothing more to say other than that I love The Academy Is... (what else is new?). From waiting in line for 15 hours in -10ish degree weather with my bestie, to sketched out drug transactions (or so it seemed), to annoying teenage hipsters, and to bitches in green pants, and finally to 20 minutes of painful kneeling before the show even started... I can safely say that all that was worth it once the lights were off and The Academy Is... took to the stage. They played songs from all three albums. I was surprised how much of Fast Times they played because it just went by so quick. Here's a list (in no particular order) of the songs that were played...

It was an incredible set and memories to last a lifetime (especially for Jenicka, ask her lol). The day was full of laughter, love and friends. What more could I ask for? In the end, everything happens for a resaon and it wouldn't be the same if it didnt. And, I would do it all again.
