This won’t hurt more than a pinch.
So just pour a drink,
Let’s talk it over.
I’m back after all these years.
Don’t be afraid my dear,
Now I’m older.
‘Cause people change,
Can’t you see my eyes?
Are they not the same after the lies?
I know I’m like a machine,
But I still have dreams.
I know one day we will…
Sleep for days.
Come over, come over.
I won’t make the same mistakes.
I’m dying not to hurt you.
In our dreams we can be complete again.
When you were young,
You kept a list
Of the things you miss as you got older.
I know you in every life I’ve lived.
Yeah, I’m still a kid
Even though I’m colder.
When you were a child
I was lost in the wild
But you built a home for me in the grove.
I was born in the cold,
Turn up the heat,
I know one day we will…
Sleep for days.
Come over, come over.
I won’t make the same mistakes.
I’m dying not to hurt you.
In our dreams we can be complete
If we go to sleep
We can wake up home again.
(Come on over again, over again.)
Sleep for days,
Come over, come over.
I won’t make the same mistakes.
Come over, come over.
I’m dying not to hurt you.
Sleep for days.
I won’t make the same mistakes.
Come over, come over.
I’m dying not to hurt you.
In our dreams we can be complete
If we go to sleep
We can wake up home again.
(Come over, come over, come over.)
(Come over, come over, come over.)

Snow Globe
I used to believe that no one else was alive.
And all of the world was just a show inside my own mind.
The dog’s on a leash, tied to a pole, shaking above the snow
I try to pretend, I try to pretend, everything’s just in my head.
The choir’s in line, belting its soul, over the dying crowd.
Singing for love, their voices will soar, and disappear through the floor.
I used to believe that no one else was alive.
And all of the world was just a show inside my own mind.
------------------------------
It's so funny how things work out. No matter what in life, you can't avoid bitches and assholes who come across your path. It's a fact. Whether you're their ''friend'' because they're friends with your best friend, or your coworkers, your classmates, or random strangers who decided to pick you, they've made their way in your life. So, the question is, what do you do? You try to make nice. Treat others how you'd like to be treated, right? Things don't seem to be that bad. Then, like a force of nature, these so-called bitches and assholes decide to fuck you up. Now what? Retaliation? No, that's child's play. You develop a thick-skin. You take it all in. You don't take it personally. You learn. It's fucking business.

Judas Kiss
Take, take these words in. Take them like you did that foreign excitement. You bleed lust. Choke. So was it worth it? Did you get what you wanted, the silent type. Did you even come close, did they let you taste it? I can see how the rush, and the heat, and the touch of a stranger gets you going. You're feeling selfish, you've got the urge. Don't bother keeping your heavy breathing down for the one who can't hear you scream.
Never pass of your guilt lines, just wear them like a noose on your neck, I'll help you keep it tied tight. When you feel your close to coming, just think about that perfect subtle demon that you've been dreaming into the light, keep it tied tight.
Unlike the way you've become "city feature", you'd love to let them rip you apart until you feel clean, but when it's over he won't take back what is left. I can see how the speed, and the sting, and the wings of the plane home make you nervous. Oh, Mr. Shoddy Content, swept all your dignity under the covers, she'll be lying, keeping secrets, keeping quiet. Now you understand what it's like to dive. Take it back, taken back, she forgets you. Now she pleads "Forgive me again, it's the last time I will..."
Never pass of your guilt lines, just wear them like a noose on your neck, I'll help you keep it tied tight. You're the worst actor that I've ever seen but if this script called for liars, you'd play the lead. "When you've changed, I'll change" what it's like again. What you don't see while you sleep...3 year deceiver, you're not fooling.
Never pass of your guilt lines, just wear them like a noose on your neck, I'll help you keep it tied tight. You're the worst actor that I've ever seen but if this script called for liars, you'd play the lead.
---------------------------------
Everything changes in September and I can't wait. Loose ends will be tied and discarded. Never look back.

Whoa Oh! (Me vs. Everyone)
I candy coat and cover everything,
but I'm still hiding underneath.
It's been a long time; It's been a long time.
A thousand faces looking up at me,
Hands all pointing to the ceiling,
Oh what a feeling.
I've got friends in highly low places.
I'm standing on post, and I'm posted up,
Can't afford to lose them.
I've got friends in highly low places,
I'll go inside when I wanna party,
Grab a girl and dance (don't touch me)
Whoa Oh, Whoa, Whoa Oh
Why do I put myself in these situations
Whoa Oh, Whoa, Whoa Oh
I keep pushing myself, even though I can't take it at all
Girl, who taught you how to move like that?
At this pace your at you're going way too fast.
I, I saw you from across the room, it's me versus every guy
It's your choice you choose.
I've got friends in highly low places
It's been a long time, it's been a long time
And maybe baby, you can rise above the rest and meet me, yeah
Whoa Oh, Whoa, Whoa Oh
Why do I put myself in these situations
Whoa Oh, Whoa, Whoa Oh
I keep pushing myself, even though I can't take it at all
You're worth losing my self esteem
Your clever words mean nothing,
more to me than a line I heard in a movie
You're worth losing my, losing my, losing my self esteem
You're not worth putting myself in these situations
Whoa Oh, Whoa, Whoa Oh
Why do I put myself in these situations
Whoa Oh, Whoa, Whoa Oh
I keep pushing myself, even though I can't take it at all

I just realized how much growing up I still need to do. Everyone is off to bigger and better things. Here I am, just lost. What am I doing with my life? I'm not happy where I am. Then, someone gave me some advice that I should not be so ''pot committed''. In the sense that most of your poker chips are already in the pot. You have a Jack and a 4. Your opponent has a 10 and a 5. The river is 10,10, Jack, and 4. One more card needs to be flipped. Either, A, call and lose another 5 chips added to your 20 chips already in the pot, or B, fold? You can fold and start over. Lose the 20 and not 25. You don't have to call just because you've already invested 20 chips. You can last more rounds if you fold. Thank you, I think I might.

The Space Between
There's something strange going on in my head
That says if I were to get in a car right now
North Carolina is where I would end
And to your doorstep I would be bound.
To whisper the words that I've always wanted to say,
And watch as the sun rips this blue sky away
Cause the colors are always changing
So stare up at the clouds
And at least you know
You're always looking up
So Casey can you remember
Sitting by my side
On the bank of the Delaware River
And talking about life
Don't forget about the blue skies, sunrise, and all the space between
It's amazing how a girl like you could affect a guy like me
All the pictures, memories and all the times we had
Do you think that some things are better left unsaid?
We'd stay inside just to watch the time go by
And sleep the whole day till the night
With everything you said
I'm sure you've got some place that you'd probably rather be
I hope you're singing this song
And thinking about me
Carolina was waiting for you
It's what you always wanted
Don't forget about the blue skies, sunrise, and all the space between
It's amazing how a girl like you could affect a guy like me
With the pictures, memories and all the times we had
Do you think that some things are better left unsaid?
And we run away
Cause the sky looks different when you're in another state
It's everything I've always wanted
And everything I've worked so hard for
Is it in me
To put the bottle down?
Well Is it in me?
To put the bottle down?
Well is it in me? (blue skies sunrise and all the space between)
To put the bottle down? (it's amazing how a girl like you could affect a guy like me)
Well is it in me? (with the pictures, memories, and all the times we had)
To put the bottle down? (do you think that some things, are better left unsaid?)
Is it in me
Is it in me

Between You and I
Would you believe me if I said I was sorry
The question wasn't mean to hurt,
It was just my fear of losing you.
And now you're filling all the space that surrounds you
I'll soon be tucked away underneath your bed
Where you gave yourself to me.
Where I gave myself to you.
Maybe it's all for the best,
But I just don't see any good in this, no.
Maybe we'll find something better
But the lovers that leave us
Will always hold the place
Maybe it was wrong of me to think I could keep you
And maybe it's the last few drinks
Taking over my mouth and all I've been thinking
I want you to know that I am fine here without you
But I can't bring myself to lie to you.
And since we're being honest, I feel I should tell you
I've been filling up the empty space between you and I
Between you and I, she could never compare to you
Between you and I, I still keep your pictures underneath my bed
Where she gives herself to me.
Where I give myself to you.
Maybe it's all for the best,
But I just don't see any good in this, no.
Maybe we'll find something better
But the lovers that leave us
Will always hold the place, oh...
Yeah...
Maybe it's all for the best,
I just don't see any good in this, no.
Maybe we'll find something better
But the lovers that leave us
Will always hold the place
Yeah the lovers that leave us
Will always hold the place
This post will be dedicated to the future.

As leaves will soon fall all around, we know change awaits us. We go back to structured schedules, regular sleep patterns, and thinking before just doing. We go back to familiar faces and familiar places. We go back to academia, studying, and trying. For three short months, we were able to escape it all. We were able to diverge off the path of our so-called lives, and now it's time to get back on it. Now, it's time to say goodbye. Goodbye to summer, goodbye (for now) to some familiar faces, goodbye to not caring, and just plain goodbye. But where there is change, there is possibility. The possibility of success. The possibility of opportunities to learn new things, to meet new people, to start over again, and to not make the same mistakes. The possibility of something different awaits us.

American Love
You see I’ve got this American love
A brand new planet in the solar system
I kiss her neck, but I just can’t look her in the eye
You leave for college at the turn of autumn
I spent the winter diving to the bottom
I kiss your neck, but I just can’t look you in the eye
Yeah
Big hearts, big hearts, big hearts are for breaking (big hearts are breaking)
Big hearts, big hearts, big hearts are for breaking yeah
You see I’ve got this critical conscience
A brand new black hole in the solar system
I dig my grave, but can't stand to step inside
When they find out (when they find out)
They'll sound every siren, break the door down
To find a baby crying
You thought I knew that it's just not right to tell a lie
Yeah
Big hearts, big hearts, big hearts are for breaking (big hearts are breaking) oooh
Big hearts, big hearts, big hearts are for breaking yeah
Now there’s no turning back
Yeah my face of the sweat we share
There’s no where to run, we're so unprepared
It’s a new heart attack
Brand new breaks on my back to there
It’s sung, say a word, we might find us there
You see I’ve got this American love
A hidden planet in the solar system
Keep your eyes shut, I can't stand to say goodbye
Big hearts, big hearts, big hearts are for breaking (big hearts are breaking) oooh
Big hearts, big hearts, big hearts are for breaking yeah (big hearts are for breaking)
---------------------------------
Note: I could not find lyrics to this song, so I spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure the lyrics out. If it doesn't make sense, apologies in advance for Andrew being unable to articulate. If you happen to have found the lyrics, do not tell me because I will be sad.
----------------------------------
The past 2 days have been amazing as I was able to share it with the best 3 people in my life. With time and a little alcohol, I can say I have become closer to each and every one of them. It's crazy to even say that being friends for so long, we are able to still learn something new about each other. It just makes it a little harder to say goodbye for now.
PS. The scarf has been christened (and is making its way to bring us closer).
PPS. I'm wearing the scarf as I write.
PPPS. Something has been added to the scarf already!
----------------------------------
It's just surprising how things work out. It's impossible to avoid the inevitable. But when your intuition kicks in and red flags pop, what do you do? Do you, A, continue and pretend it doesn't exist, and that you're crazy for thinking it? Or B, be a realist and question 'why'? What would you really do? In these types of situations, it's hard to even admit that there is a possibility that things might not work out. But your heart tells you to believe and that it's not over until it's over. But your head tells you to get out now, it's going to hurt. Do you follow your heart, or your head? Once the inevitable happens, you feel like a fool for believing, a fool to think that things can work out. Note to self: Listen to your fucking head because it hurts.

Northern Downpour
If all our life is but a dream
Fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me
And then she said she can't believe
Genius only comes along
In storms of fabled foreign tongues
Tripping eyes, and flooded lungs
Northern downpour sends its love
Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely
The ink is running toward the page
It's chasin' off the days
Look back at boat feet
And that winding knee
I missed your skin when you were east
You clicked your heels and wished for me
Through playful lips made of yarn
That fragile Capricorn
Unraveled words like moths upon old scarves
I know the world's a broken bone
But melt your headaches, call it home
Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely
Sugarcane (hey moon) in
(Hey moon) the easy mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my
(Hey moon) one and lonely
Sugarcane (hey moon) in (hey moon)
The easy (hey moon) mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my (hey moon)
One (hey moon) and lonely
[Continues in background:]
Sugarcane (hey moon) in (hey moon)
The easy (hey moon) mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my (hey moon)
One (hey moon) and lonely
Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
You are at the top of my lungs
Drawn to the ones who never yawn
---------------------------------
Here I am. Up. Awake. At 5 in the morning. It's hard to sleep these days and it's kind of pissing me off. I lay here waiting. Waiting for what, you may ask? Just to get up at the right time. 5 is too early to get up for any reason. So, I blog. Tonight is going to be a fun day, embarking on our last days together as a four-some before the summer ends. So, what are four girls up to on our last days? Partaying it up. I even bought a new dress. So it better be fucking fun. Haha. Coming from a girl who collides with the club, it means a lot. But for now, I must try to get in one more hour of sleep before I have to start getting ready... and call work and hopefully they will not need me to come in *crosses fingers* So now I leave you. More to come later.

Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely
Sugarcane (hey moon) in
(Hey moon) the easy mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my
(Hey moon) one and lonely
Sugarcane (hey moon) in (hey moon)
The easy (hey moon) mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my (hey moon)
One (hey moon) and lonely
[Continues in background:]
Sugarcane (hey moon) in (hey moon)
The easy (hey moon) mornin'
Weathervanes (hey moon) my (hey moon)
One (hey moon) and lonely
Hey moon, please forget to fall down
Hey moon, don't you go down
You are at the top of my lungs
Drawn to the ones who never yawn

Here I am. Up.

Swim
Swim for your life
Swim for the music
That saves you
When you're not so sure you'll survive
You gotta swim
Swim when it hurts
The whole world is watching
You haven't come this far
To fall off the earth
The currents will pull you
Away from your love
Just keep your head above
I found a tidal wave
Begging to tear down the door
Memories like bullets
They fired at me from a gun
Cracking me open now
I swim for brighter days
In spite of the absence of sun
Choking on salt water
I'm not giving in
Swim
You gotta swim
For nights that won't end
Swim for your family
Your lovers your sisters
And brothers and friends
You gotta swim
For wars without cause
Swim for these lost politicians
Who don't see their greed is a flaw
The currents will pull us
Away from our love
Just keep your head above
I found a tidal wave
Begging to tear down the door
Memories like bullets
They fired at me from a gun
Cracking me open now
I swim to brighter days
Despite of the absence of sun
Choking on salt water
I'm not giving in
I'm not giving in
Swim
You gotta swim
Swim in the dark
There's an ocean to drift in
Feel the tide shifting away from this spot
Yeah you gotta swim
Don't let yourself sink
Just follow the horizon
I promise you it's not as far as you think
Currents will drag us away from our love
Just keep your head above
Just keep your head above
Swim
Just keep your head above
Swim
Just keep your head above
Swim

I was given the new Jack's Mannequin album yesterday. So when I woke up today, I decided to give it a whirl. Casually listening, I did my normal internet routine.. facebook, Perez, blogs, emails, Perez (because do you know how fast gossip gets posted??? like super fast!) Anyways, a song plays. It's absolutely beautiful and coincidentally called "Swim". And I am in love with it.
This song just says that no matter what in life, even if you're given the short end of the stick, that you have to keep going. No matter how difficult, no matter how much you think you can't, do not give up. Simple as that.
After listening for about 10+ times, I am suddenly empowered. Maybe thats not the right word? Maybe the word one notch down from that. I feel that everything I thought was wrong with my life isn't anymore. Sure, I haven't fallen in love, haven't had a boyfriend, and haven't gotten a 4.0 GPA. But so many great things have happened. I have three best friends when others have none. I have a mom, dad, sister, and brother when others have none of the forementioned. I have a not 2.0 when others have a 2.0. I have drinking water when others have "water". It just puts into perspective that I definitely do take things for granted. I think I always will. But, it's just nice to be reminded that it can be worse, and to be thankful that it isn't.
This song makes me want to "swim" (air quotations because for those who know me, clearly I can't to save my life). It makes me want to be a better person and have the drive to be that better person for the rest of my life. I want to have the endurance and the courage to continue. I need to not waste time and try my best to get there. I need to do it for my family, friends, and for myself. I need to not be a let down. I need to be better.
To stay true to this song, I shall replace every "swim" with "study" or "try" ... in the places where it doesn't make sense, please input the appropriate metaphorical phrase.

Say Anything (Else)
And baby don't follow their lead
'cause you'll never know
Just how the story ends, or how the story goes
And you are so confused
And baby it's just like you
To say anything else
Whenever you get this way
Just getting up for the let down,
Mmm here they come, and yes, they're here to stay
Just getting up for the let down
Oh I'm here to say that you're the star you wanna be
Just open up and look inside and you will see, yeah
Someday you'll sing it out loud
One day this will make you proud
Whoa oh, "I know..."
Whoa oh.
And baby don't follow their lead
'cause you never know
Just how the story ends, or how the story goes
And you are so confused,
And baby it's just like you
To say anything else
It's time for you to understand
Stop getting up for the let down
Oh, who you are is not up to them
Stop getting up for the let down
And I'm here to say that you're the star you wanna be
Just open up and look inside you will see
Someday you'll sing it out loud
One day this will make you proud
Whoa oh, "I know..."
Whoa oh.
Someday you'll sing it out loud
One day this will make you proud
Whoa oh, "I know..."
"I know..." is never good enough
So say what you want
(You know I'm wasting all my time)
You've gotta mean it when you say what you want
(You're only safe when you're alone)
And everybody's on your mind
Saying anything to get you by
And so to get what you want
(You know I'm wasting all my time)
You've gotta mean it when you say what you want
(You're only safe when you're alone)
You're wasting everybody's time
You're saying anything that gets you by
It's not, not, not gonna get you,
Gonna get you by
Someday you'll sing it out loud
One day this will make you proud
Whoa oh, "I know..."
"I know..." is never good enough
Someday you'll sing it out loud
One day this will make you proud
Whoa oh, "I know..."
Whoa oh,
Whoa oh, "I know..."
"I know..." is never good enough
--------------------------------
One of my many, upon many, fears is the fact that I'm not good enough. I'm sure everyone has their self-doubts. Doubts about who they are, what their purpose in life is, and most importantly, doubts about their abilities and untapped potential to be the best they can be. Sure I sound like every person in the world, but the fact is that I can't help it. For some reason, I need the validation to move on. What if the validation doesn't exist. What happens next? Crumble and fall? I sure hope not. I hope that I am able to come to an understanding that I can't please everyone around me. I am bound to disappoint others, and vice versa. But what comes from that, is the prospect of confidence and acceptance. The ability to believe in myself and the courage to trample those who strive to kick me to the ground. I hope for the future that I am able to mature into a stronger person than I am today. So step number one in this process? Fuck you, haters.

Dear Interceptor
Get out of the city if it hurts. You're too blind, move it over, try to get closer to the lifestyles of gluttons; seem so seamless and perfect. I've been the secret that you've been keeping.
Ears to the wall, eyes on the prize. See that you've made a mistake, and we all know what you've done here. Dear Interceptor, I've been waiting... Show me something. Hold the phone, we've found an answer. Full moons and minot keys to get there faster. Mirror, mirror, see this as clear as crystalline. Second-hand interpreter. The spoken word for change.
Wait for me, I wanted to feel this safe. I can't hear you scream. Hold the phone to make it better, I can't hear you.
Blood to the beat. This thirst of the Lion can't be quenched by cigarette strewn cubicle air. Dear diluted, while you're dreaming... Hold the phone, we've found an answer. Full moons and minot keys to get there faster. Mirror, mirror, see this as clear as crystalline. Second-hand interpreter, deep into the Red we need a change.
Just look at this cardboard cut-out, this puppet that you've become. Let me be the first to acknowledge you've no pride, you've no purpose. It's so typical to think less is more when you're out of the lead. Don't hurt yourself. Settle for less. It's so typical to think less is more when you're out of the lead. Second-hand interpreter, the spoken word for change.
Wait for me. I can't hear you. Hold the phone, we've found an answer.
-----------------------------------
It's well past 3am and here I am. Without sleep and with too many thoughts to count. Even Armor For Sleep couldn't get me through this one. I haven't had one of these nights in quite a while.
I found myself thinking about the future a lot. I know that it's unpredictable and "only time will tell". But it sucks. I know its immature, stupid and "oh so girly" of me, but damn it, why is it so hard to find the four letter word.. love? With well over 6 million people in the entire world, you'd think that love would occur on a weekly basis. But after a lot of hard thinking and talking to the dead, I've come to the conclusion that love only comes to those who are ready for it. It comes to those who are willing to jump, those who are ready to fall, those who don't care, and those who are ready to accept all consequences. All four things must occur in order to find love. I've jumped... maybe 1.5 metres, but definitely wasn't ready to fall from that. And from stupid moves like that, hearts get a little cracked, not broken. But cracked enough to make someone scared and not be able to free fall. From seeing people I love get so hurt, by getting hurt ever so slightly each time myself, its hard to want the very thing I've been trying to find. So, I say I want love. But, am I willing to crash and burn? Not quite yet. "Take the pain out of love, then love won't exist", right? You've got to be brave, to be open, and to not be so scared. I admit, I'm jealous. Not jealous that everyone has a "boo" but me. But, more so that I'm not as brave as I want to be. I'm jealous that I cannot give my heart and a hammer, and let someone decide whether to pound it into tiny misshapen pieces and sell it for pocket change. I want to believe I will be strong enough, but it's hard trying to be a rock 24/7. Right now, admittedly, whoever gets close to me, I push away. Am I pushing away the very thing that's trying to find me? The future is unpredictable and only time will tell.
As a child, my parents always said that I wasn't allowed to date until I graduated from university (typical of the Asian parents, ask anyone). I always thought it was a joke. But now, here at the age of 20, entering my third year of university, aren't they happy? You bet. Intentional on my behalf? Not really, I blame the subconscious. I guess after little experiences, you start to see the entire picture. Or in my case, a little bit of overthinking and temperature variability does the trick too. Were they trying to protect my little heart? Probably. I think the message behind it all, was that they wanted me to become this strong, independent person before I decide to let someone into my life. A person who knows who she is, and isn't afraid of not fitting in. A person who knows what she wants, and won't let anyone else change her. I needed to be this person. Am I there yet? Not nearly. Good luck, Anita.

After The Last Midtown Show
It’s a drunken midnight on the streets,
brightly dusted with a neon light.
We duck behind the corner store,
smoke your smokes while I keep
a watchful eye.
Right here, right now.
I hope before the night is through
one fumbled touch will finally hit the spot.
You’ve got everything going for you,
so I’ll go for you with everything I got.
Right here, the best days of our lives.
Is this coincidence or a sign?
Is there anything I missed?
Is there anything I missed?
Tell me if I’m wrong,
but why would we change a thing?
When the morning light fights through the cracks
cascading across the bed, and you are mine.
When your parents start to wake for work,
between the sheets, I’ll keep a watchful eye.
Right here, the best days of our lives.
Is this coincidence or a sign?
When we met I was on my back.
I swear we spent most afternoons
somewhere in the act.
We were part of something ours,
and ours alone.
Anywhere was home.
We’re almost here again.
We’re almost here again.
We’re almost here again.
Right here, right now.

Things all of a sudden feel like they've changed without me. They're not the same anymore. It's time that I finally grow up.

You've Got The Nerve
These chains won't break
These locks will hold all of your mistakes
You've set in reserve
Try not to shake
They'll never know all of these things
You've come to deserve
You've got the nerve
To count your sins but not your blessings
The way you instigate is often interesting
It's too sad to see that you believe in me
Sit in the corner
Think about the life you're missing
You can keep talking
But you know we'll never listen
It's too sad to see that you believe in me
I told you things
I guess I should have known
That you would let them out
Lies stay a while but
They through them out
You lie to me
You seemed torn up
I let you in, but you let me down
You've got the nerve
To count your sins but not your blessings

Classifieds!
My life reads like the classifieds.
Pages of what's for sale; what's on the auction block.
Attention bidders! It's Lot 45.
He's got a decent voice, he's got that crooked smile.
Hold on, you haven't heard the best yet.
He writes good storylines, he's got those honest eyes.
So take him home for just $9.95.
He'll sing the songs you like, he'll keep you warm at night.
Back down, cash out, that's the city for ya.
Break down and back out, and get what's coming to you.
When you said you were falling apart
I thought you meant that you were falling apart.
I'm not the type to forget about nights like this,
when every single move that I make is documented and scored for style points.
The once ambitious one now holds the smoking gun.
And if I die in my sleep, are you still willing to be everything you promised you would be?
Back down, cash out, that's the city for ya.
Break down and back out, and get what's coming to you.
When you said you were falling apart
I thought you meant that you were falling apart.
Will you be the first one to tell the neighborhood paper
and all my family and friends that still care?
Did you buy what I sold and did you feel what I told you?
I hope that you still do. Will you promise yourself, that this isn't all we've got?
Back down, cash out, that's the city for ya.
Break down and back out, and get what's coming to you.
When you said you were falling apart
I thought you meant that you were falling apart.

Awkward Last Words
I wanna live again
I wanna start everything over again
I wanna get this right
I'll meet you in another life
Over again
I'm coming back around again
Coming back over again
I'm coming back around again,
but now it's over
We're out of time and I can't breathe
I told you not to believe in me
'Cause all I do is push you far away from me
All I do is push you far away from me
Out of time and I can't breathe
I told you not to believe in me
'Cause all I do is push you far away from me
All I do is push you far away from me
I'm gonna make this work
I'm gonna change everything wrong with me
I'm gonna prove you wrong
when I meet you in another life
Over again
I'm coming back around again
Coming back over again
I'm coming back around again,
but now it's over
We're out of time and I can't breathe
I told you not to believe in me
'Cause all I do is push you far away from me
All I do is push you far away from me
Out of time and I can't breathe
I told you not to believe in me
'Cause all I do is push you far away from me
All I do is push you far away from me
I never had the gift of holding on to you
You're so far, so far away
No I, never had the gift of holding on to you, now
You're so far, so far awaya
I wanna live again [x3]
I wanna start everything over again
I wanna live again [x3]
I wanna start everything over again
We're out of time and I can't breathe [x4]
We're out of time and I can't breathe
I told you not to believe in me
'Cause all I do is push you far away from me
All I do is push you far away from me

This is my cheapo shot of a blog. Reason #1: I suck at writing, therefore will suck at blogging. Reason #2: At the moment, it says it all. Reason #3: William Beckett can get away with it. Maybe next time, I will put more effort into this. Maybe.
