I just realized how much growing up I still need to do. Everyone is off to bigger and better things. Here I am, just lost. What am I doing with my life? I'm not happy where I am. Then, someone gave me some advice that I should not be so ''pot committed''. In the sense that most of your poker chips are already in the pot. You have a Jack and a 4. Your opponent has a 10 and a 5. The river is 10,10, Jack, and 4. One more card needs to be flipped. Either, A, call and lose another 5 chips added to your 20 chips already in the pot, or B, fold? You can fold and start over. Lose the 20 and not 25. You don't have to call just because you've already invested 20 chips. You can last more rounds if you fold. Thank you, I think I might.
